If You've Got It, Flaunt it Arizona!

If Adam and Eve had been kicked out of the Garden of Eden into my Arizona spring, they might not have noticed...until Eve sat on a cactus and Adam tried to pet a rattlesnake.

Soon the Ocotillo spears will burst into red flames at the tips for a few glorious days.

Inevitably though, the Arizona sun will burn brighter and hotter
and I will move indoors to hibernate during the long hot summer.
Today I am enjoying my own desert garden of Eden.

Beautiful pictures! I even recognized some of those plants. My area doesn't get as hot as yours, but I can't take the humidity so try to get out and enjoy spring also.

Gorgeous! My mom lives in and loves the desert.

I lived there myself for five years of my childhood. It has a beauty all its own, doesn't it?

=)

These pics make me miss Indiana. No, these look nothing like Arizona. I want Hydrangeas, and tulips, and the ice cream man named Crazy Dave, and the book mobile. Sorry, got carried away.

thank you for showing us, the natural beauty, to be found in Hot Arizona. :-)

Gentle hugs,

You've been out hiking. I need to get out there. If A&E had gotten sent in to this area, it wouldn't have been so bad for them. A little adobe - water from a cactus here and there - They'd have made it.

The desert has a beauty all it's own, and some of it's colors are the most brilliant. They're just packaged in prickly ways. I loved to see these pictures! At least you can notice when spring comes. It's the same as any other here.

The colours are beautiful - and perhaps the more so because of the dry and dusty surroundings. Spring is springing up all over the desert - and it looks prickly!

The first thing I thought of when I saw your pictures is "There is beauty all around...", the Lord's earth is beautiful not matter where you look.

Beautiful. We still have some snow on the ground. A few crocuses poking through. Definitely no cacti.

Alas, beauty can be found everywhere, but it is harder to find in some places.
