Bubbles of Joy

These were my offers to the grandboy:
1.  Catch butterflys in the park
2.  Watch Megamind for the billionth time
3.  Watch grandma read a book while she daintily sips Diet Coke
4.  Go to Bounce House
5.  Put together Spiderman puzzle for the trillionth time
6.  Hide and seek with glow in the dark bugs
7.  Hide and seek while grandma hides in the bedroom and takes a short and stealthy nap

The choice?

THE CARWASH!!!

Grandboy would rather go to the carwash than go to the moon.

The carwash contains all the essential elements for a dramatic event:

 A waterfall

thunder

bubbles

an octopus

guns shooting at you

and finally, safety after the storm

I call it a bargain for $5

The grandtwins used to cry in the car wash. I think their goofy father traumatized them some how. But the dog Lola loves it. And I think Gunnar the new grandson likes it. You have such a cute list of choices. (stealthy nap and daintily drinking Diet Coke--my favs) Though I rarely get the first when babes are here. They're coming for a week next week. I may buy a book of those carwash deals...;o)

I can't believe he didn't go for 3! Or 7! Kids these days...sheesh.

Thanks for the great idea. Next time we just HAVE to get out of the house I know exactly where we are going. :)

I loved the car wash as a kid! I had a friend who would bawl through the entire process. I remember looking at her very confusedly.

More recently, I was enjoying the bubbles, thunderstorm, and octopus of a car wash with Blanche the dog in the back seat, and I looked back to see the poor thing crouching and trembling. Blanche hates the car wash.

PS- You make me LOL.

He sure is easily amused especially if you tell him there will be bubbles, an octopus and thunder. Too fun!
