May the Faux Force Be With You

What do you do if you are a small Utah town
without a budget to pay for extra officers?

Rent a good looking mannequin
that doesn't demand overtime.
take lunch breaks
 talk back
or make your wife jealous.

Really? Does she give faux tickets?

Those Utahans are so clever and innovative.

That mannequin makes me jealous. Just from her face I can tell she is thinner than me; and look at that flawless complexion.

Hahaha, is that outside of Kanab? We have driven by that several times and always wondered why someone was sleeping on the job. Glad to know who she really is! :)

That is pretty inventive, but I shouldn't think she'd be fooling folks for very long. Especially now that she's hit the internet....

OK that is so funny!
Around here where I live the police often park vehicles at busy intersections, etc...because when people see the vehicle they automatically slow down - but I have never seen a manequin in one - totally hilarious!!!

Ya! We saw her just last week. Look out for the ones on the rez....they're not faux. Just out to make a little money for the tribe.

I saw one of those in one of those little towns in Utah between Panguitch and Kanab. Laugh clown laugh! I also liked the way they parked them just so by the side of the road when you've left Panguitch at 3:30 in the morning and it's all dark out coming around that curve speeding just a tad and ... OOPS! Not a person in them at that hour.

I've noticed that it's become endemic to small town southern Utah. Every town seems to have a faux officer. I thing the sheer quantity lowers the overall effectiveness :)

Wow! Utah is ahead of Texas. They just park empty police cars on the side of the road here.

Now I know why I am the way I am. Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa all born in Panguitch. Explains a lot! Looks like a fun trip!
