Houston, we have lift off

After thirty years of marriage
you would think I would know how
to clearly communicate
with my husband.

This is what I got
when I told him I needed
 something that would
give me "a little lift"
Anybody in the market for a
chair/body launcher?

Giggle, Giggle. It seems you are not the only one with a sense of humor.

Oh dear - are there post-marriage courses? Clearly, he didn't get the point!

I hope that was a gag gift. I'd show Rick "lift" if he got that for me. (and I'm tons older than you--but I'd still biff 'im.)

I would expect nothing less from a husband of yours. Love it.

Well, I have to give him creativity points. LOL I don't suppose he had the good sense to hide jewelry and chocolate in the upholstery?

You never fail to amuse. I have a chair like that and it is possessed by a ------- will of its own and sometimes just ----well never mind. It's known hereabouts at "The Electric Chair." It's unplugged because happily I don't require "a lift".

I don't think the communication thing ever gets resolved.

Thanks for following me! Your blog is delightfully hilarious. I am loving it and excited to start following you, too :)

What a great 'pick me up' idea. Maybe you could install a super charger in that thing and get some serious launch action....

Yes! I am in the market. Too bad you are so far away. There is probably a doddering old person in a nursing home there who is dependent on pressing a little red button every time he wants to stand up though.

You'll be so glad for that beauty in a decade or two. The color will go well with anything you knit. ;)

Too funny! I am afraid it is true, you could be mobbed by the elderly if they knew you had this beauty!
