Organ Donors at the Dollar Store

If you've been holding back on Halloween purchases at the dollar store...
wait no longer
as Larainy publishes another installment of

Today I will review
That's Gross! Stretchy Body Parts
After extensive testing, I submit the following observations:

  •   Stretchability factor is excellent; basically a 3/1 ratio
  • I found the hand to be particularly lifelike and flexible, with a soft and pliable epidermis
  • The eyeball disappoints, as it is crudely painted with outlandish blood vessels.  I found it laughably garish
  • The tongue is particularly gruesome when stretched to full capacity, causing a delightful shudder to creep down the  spine
  • Body parts tend to leave an oily spot.  Advise caution when wearing them on fine linen
  • Do not expect items to replicate your actual size.  Unless you are in the Guiness Book of World Records

I give "That's Gross, Stretchy Body Parts" a rating of $.95, an excellent value.
I particularly recommend it as a hostess gift during the month of October.

Do you realize that it's been 143 days (that's 4 months and 21 days) since you did the last low hanging fruit post? I know this because I have been counting. Ya can't just go start up something, get people all hooked on your dollar store knowledge and then make us shop for ourselves all cold turkey like that. Man, that was awesome! I feel so much better.

Thanks for the review! What would we do without you?

Great review. I am sure that tongue would be a hit at any party floating in the punch, especially something with a raspberry base. Yum!

Deliciously gruesome, and under a buck! To be a kid again!

Oh man, you had me at the stretched out nose. Excellent, as usual.

I was scared to click on this post...and as soon as I saw the 'nose' stretched out with thumbtacks....I knew why. (gulp...hurl).

I'm glad you gave us an "actual size" reference. Deceptive advertising otherwise!

Your title certainly drew me into this post. I've been to Dollar Tree and was totally grossed out. Ewwww. But you made me laugh about it.

I'm pretty sure that these body parts are not available north of the border - another example of retail boycotting of Canada.

I'm always on the look out for spare body parts, especially around Halloween. Good to know that the hand is especially nice. I appreciate the tip about the oiliness factor too, lol.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me yesterday, Larainy.

Well, I feel a trip to the Dollar Tree coming on! I think I need me that nose. Or maybe the tongue.

That nose looks pretty real, but sort of greasy, you know?
